The Pian de Fontana Refuge is an alpine refuge located in the Belluno Dolomites National Park at 1,632 meters above sea level, the final destination of several variants of the Alta Via 1, managed by the Italian Alpine Club (CAI).
It offers 24 beds, satellite internet access, and serves as a base for hikes in the area. Although showers are available, hot water can be limited or nonexistent, and accommodations are basic, but the area is appreciated for its wild nature, tranquility, and panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.
