✅ Explore the vast Alpe di Siusi plateau
✅ Visit the iconic Schlern (Sciliar) and Rifugio Bolzano

This 2-day self-guided adventure takes you from the quiet village of Tires deep into the heart of the Schlern–Rosengarten Nature Park.

On day one, you hike through the scenic Tschamin Valley, one of the most beautiful and less crowded valleys in the Dolomites. The trail climbs steadily through forests and alpine terrain before passing through the dramatic Bärenloch, a rugged rocky section that adds true alpine character to the ascent. Your destination is Rifugio Alpe di Tires, located in an extraordinary high mountain setting beneath the impressive rock towers of the Rosszähne.

Rifugio Alpe di Tires is famous not only for its spectacular panoramic location but also for its outstanding cuisine. The hut combines authentic alpine atmosphere with refined mountain gastronomy — a true highlight of the experience. Watching the sunset light over the surrounding Dolomite peaks is unforgettable.

After an energizing breakfast, day two continues across the wide-open landscapes of Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest high alpine plateau. You hike toward Rifugio Bolzano (Schlernhaus), dramatically perched on the edge of the Schlern plateau. From there, you can continue to the summit of the Schlern (Sciliar), the iconic mountain featured on the famous Loacker packaging.

The descent leads back toward the valley, completing a compact but highly scenic Dolomites adventure.
