Here's the detailed program:
🗓️ Day 1: From Rifugio Paolina to Rifugio Vajolet
↑530 m ascent - ↓470 m descent - 7.2 km - approx. 3.5 Hrs
A beautiful first stage across the Rosengarten, with plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and settle into the rhythm of the trek.
🗓️ Day 2: From Rifugio Vajolet to Rifugio Alpe di Tires / Rifugio Molignon
↑610 m ascent - ↓410 m descent - 5.8 km - approx. 3–3.5 Hrs
The route leads via Passo Principe and Passo Molignon to Rifugio Alpe di Tires. Despite the spectacular high-mountain surroundings, this is a relatively manageable stage.
🗓️ Day 3: From Rifugio Alpe di Tires / Molignon to Rifugio Toni Demetz / Rifugio Vicenza
↑910 m ascent - ↓670 m descent - 12.4 km - 5.9 Hrs
🗓️ Day 4: From Rifugio Toni Demetz / Rifugio Vicenza to Piz Boè and Rifugio Boè
Cross the impressive Sella massif and, conditions permitting, climb Piz Boè at 3,152 m before descending to Rifugio Boè for the night.
The ascent of Piz Boè is optional. If you would like to shorten the stage or conditions are not suitable, you can bypass the summit and continue directly to Rifugio Boè.
🗓️ Day 5: From Rifugio Boè to Passo Pordoi
Descend across the extraordinary lunar landscape of the Sella plateau towards Forcella Pordoi and continue down to Passo Pordoi, where the tour ends.
Flexible Route Options
Although this trek takes you through impressive high-alpine terrain, the stages are generally moderate in length. Several stages can also be shortened or adapted, and the ascent of Piz Boè can be skipped if you prefer an easier day or if weather conditions are unfavorable.
