At 2,337 meters, Rifugio Fronza sits just below the Rotwand (Roda di Vael), offering spectacular views over the surrounding Dolomites and towards the Latemar.
Easily accessible yet beautifully positioned, the hut serves as both a starting point for via ferratas and a rewarding destination in its own right. The contrast between green alpine meadows and rugged rock formations gives the area a varied and inviting character.
From here, trails lead to some of the most scenic viewpoints in the Rosengarten group, and the atmosphere remains relaxed even during busier periods.
