Rifugio Vajolet

Located at 2,243 meters in the heart of the Rosengarten, Rifugio Vajolet is one of the most iconic huts in the Dolomites. Set in a dramatic basin beneath the famous Vajolet Towers, it offers one of the most striking alpine backdrops in the region.

The atmosphere here is unmistakably high alpine. Surrounded by vertical rock walls and rugged terrain, the hut feels both exposed and deeply connected to the surrounding peaks. The approach, whether from Val di Fassa or via high passes, is scenic and rewarding, making the arrival particularly memorable.

Rifugio Vajolet is a central point for hikers and climbers alike, with access to classic routes, via ferratas, and panoramic viewpoints. In the evening, the surrounding towers glow in warm alpenglow, creating one of the most photographed moments in the Dolomites.
