Rifugio Alpe di Tires
Rifugio Alpe di Tires (in German: Tierser Alpl) is a mountain refuge and lodge in the Dolomites, located at 2440m in the Tierser Alpljoch saddle between the Schlern mountain and the Rosengarten group.
Set on a wide alpine plateau between the Rosengarten and the Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park, Rifugio Alpe di Tires is one of the most beautifully located and hospitable huts in the Dolomites. Surrounded by towering limestone peaks, it offers direct access to some of the area’s most scenic via ferrata routes, including the Santnerpass and Laurenzi. Known for its warm atmosphere, refined cuisine, and comfortable rooms, it’s a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Featured in several of our Selfguided Dolomites itineraries connecting the Rosengarten and Sella, Rifugio Alpe di Tires is an ideal base for hikers and climbers alike — where alpine comfort meets the spirit of exploration.
