Rifugio Toni Demetz

The Rifugio Toni Demetz is located in the heart of the Dolomites, majestically embedded between the peaks of the Sassolungo and the Cinque Dita (5 Fingers) on the high rocky pass of the Forcella del Sassolungo.

Perched dramatically on the narrow Forcella del Sassolungo at 2,685 m, Rifugio Toni Demetz is a truly unique mountain hut suspended between sky and rock. It lies along the spectacular Selfguided Dolomites hiking route from Rosengarten to Sella, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. The refuge provides simple, cozy rooms and warm South Tyrolean hospitality — a perfect place to pause between the Rosengarten’s rugged towers and the grand Sella massif.
